AC Drives can be considered as "complex components" in the
EMC regulations and therefore may not require to be CE marked
for EMC. This would place the onus on the equipment to which
they are subsequently attached to comply as a whole. To simplify
compliance, this range of filter packs, designed for Meiden
and certified by competent bodies means Meiden AC drives can
meet the requirements of EMC directives EN50081 and EN50082
if fitted in accordance with the instructions contained in
the EMC manual.
Drives carry the CE mark for mandatory low-voltage directive.
Filters up to 30kW are contained within the footprint of the
drive by attachment to the heatsink. These are indicated by
an asterisk (*) in the table below. Larger filters are separate

by technical support to help you comply with EMC regulations.
